Owasso Girl Scout Rally Showcases Girl Scouts

(Owasso, OK): Welcome to a new school year! Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is excited to introduce Girl Scouting to a new generation of girls and adults. Busy schedules have families making choices about the activities that will most benefit their children. And now Girl Scouts is making it easier than ever.

There are so many ways to be a Girl Scout—why choose only one? Every girl has options, and she can change course at any time. The first step is simply to decide to be a Girl Scout. Then choose from methods of participation like traditional troops, events, series of programs, camp, or travel. Choose one or several options that best suit your needs and lifestyle or mix and match your primary interests to make your own path. It will lead you on a journey of amazing adventures.

These flexible options are also available for adults. You can help your daughter or other girls in your community learn, grow, and change the world.  Whether you take the role of supporting girls as a one-time volunteer, or opt to make programs come alive for girls in your community on a recurring basis, you don’t need to lead a troop to change a life!

Find out more at an upcoming event in your area where you can learn what Girl Scouts has to offer and ask detailed questions. Register at the event or take information home.  Girl Scouts is open to all girls and adults regardless of ability to pay (financial assistance is available and requests are confidential).
