Help send holiday happiness to deployed troops, including an Owasso High School graduate

Christmas care packages are being put together and sent to deployed troops, who left around Thanksgiving.  Richard Scroggins, Owasso High School Class of 2005, will receive one of the nineteen packages being packaged and sent from Owasso.

Items specifically requested are cough and cold medicine, hand sanitizer, snacks, Christmas candy and home baked goods. Suggested items are crossword puzzle books, paperback books, and Christmas cards.

Items can be taken to Charles Gillentine at the Sinclair Dino Lube (located off of 96th Street between Lowe’s and Candlewood Suites).  Deadline to drop off items is Friday, December 14th. This will give time for the packages to be put together and mailed by the 18th, to ensure they receive them in time for Christmas.

If you are wishing to send baked goods, please wait until Friday the 14th to deliver these items so that they are as fresh as possible when they are received.

Thank you in advance for your support and helping send some holiday happiness!
