Local 8-Year Old Trades Birthday for "Toys for Tots" Toy Drive

Chase Branscum of Owasso will celebrate his eighth birthday on December 17th, 2012, and he is asking for a LOT of presents.....but none of the gifts are for him. Chase has decided to forgo a traditional party and birthday gifts to help other local boys and girls through a Toys for Tots Toy Drive.

When local business owner, Danny Stockton, of Red Dot Laser Tag, heard of Chase's generous plan, he decided to get involved by holding the benefit party. Red Dot Laser Tag offers mobile laser tag for birthday parties and special events and what could be more special than a toy drive organized by one child to help hundreds of other area children?

As event planning continued, Lee Houchin or Game On party truck, also heard of Chase's plan and was inspired to donate use of a mobile party truck during the event. The party truck is a 32 foot trailer outfitted with the latest video game technology that will come directly to the event. The air conditioned, limousine style  interior features four 51″ plasma screens and 16 linked multi-player stations. Party-goers can also enjoy two 51″ plasmas with an additional 8 linked multi-player bonus station. Featured games include: Halo, Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Sonic, Madden, NBA, Just Dance, Baja Racing and much more!

The event will take place on  December 9th at the Rejoice Church North Campus Gymnasium, located at 13413 E 106th St. N in Owasso  from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The entire community is invited to experience an afternoon of  family fun in exchange for the donation of a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots Toy Drive.

Last year  Owasso Area Toys for Tots provided toys to more than 500 families and the number of families needing assistance this year is expected to increase. With such a great need for toy donations, support from the Owasso community is vital.  Please come celebrate with Chase by donating toys to this  community outreach.
