Rodney Atkins brings hit-filled show to Tulsa on Feb. 21

Country star to play The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa 

TULSA, Okla. – Rodney Atkins has maintained a status as one of country music’s most consistent hit makers, with a third of his singles topping the charts since his 2003 debut. On Feb. 21, the rising country star will perform at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Tickets start at $25 and go on sale Jan. 10.

Atkins has released four highly successful albums in the last decade, including the 2006 chart-topper “If You’re Going Through Hell.” The 43-year-old’s most recent release is 2011’s “Take a Back Road.”

To date, Atkins has released 18 singles, with six peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts. Those singles are “If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows),” “Watching You,” “These Are My People,” “Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy),” “It’s America” and “Take a Back Road.”

Atkins was named the Academy of Country Music’s top new male vocalist in 2006 and has been nominated five additional times for various awards. He is also a Country Music Association two-time nominee.
