A cold front over Western Oklahoma and Central Kansas will make its way into Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas tonight and Friday. This frontal boundary is expected to remain over the region through the weekend with chances of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms possible Saturday and Sunday. The front looks to finally exit the region as a stronger upper level disturbance moves through the Plains Sunday night and Monday. Much colder air on the backside of the disturbance is expected for the start of next week.
