Sensory Storytime at the Owasso Library to be held Friday January 25

Owasso Library (103 W. Broadway Owasso) will offer Sensory Storytime for children ages 1-7 years old attending with a parent/caregiver, on Friday, January 25th at 4:00pm.
Sensory Storytime is an interactive and educational program that can be enjoyed by all children, but is especially designed for children with sensory integration challenges. It combines books, songs, movement, and therapeutic activities to stimulate all five senses and promote learning. If your child has difficulty sitting through one of the library’s other storytimes, this inclusive program of stories, songs and activities may be just what you are looking for!

A small group is part of what makes Sensory Storytime effective and engaging for the children participating. To help with forming groups, pre-registration is required. You can pre-register by calling 918-549-7624 or following the registration link below. Please note that a separate registration must be submitted for each child attending Sensory Storytime.

The library has prepared a "Visual Guide" to prepare children for storytime. It includes pictures of the building, storytime room, and library staff. View this guide together with your child before the event to help prepare them for their visit to the library and storytime. The Visual Guides is also linked from the Owasso Library WEBSITE
