Owasso – Where can you find tens of thousands of movies and video games for rent and pick up delicious fresh-made pizza all in the same place?
Marco’s Pizza will opened for business at 14499 E. 86th Street North on February 11th. The pizza store is located at N. 145th East Ave., next to Family Video, which has served thousands of Owasso residents since 2010.
The opening of Owasso’s newest pizza store marks the 10th Marco’s Pizza opening next to a Family Video since June of last year. The company plans to open another 50 locations nationwide in the next 4-8 months.
“Opening a Marco’s Pizza next door to our video store is a natural fit,” said Keith Hoogland, President of Family Video and Hoogland Foods, dba Marco’s Pizza. “Having a Family Video and a Marco’s Pizza in the same location saves families time. We’re creating value and convenience for our customers by having both services available in the same place.”
Marco’s Pizza will offer both carryout and delivery services. The proximity to the Family Video store will give customers the unique ability to pick up their movies and dinner without having to make multiple stops.
Family Video and Marco’s Pizza both pride themselves on the exceptional experiences and value they offer to their customers. Marco’s Pizza’s menu features the company’s Ah!thentic Italian pizza, Cheezybread, chicken wings, fresh-baked subs, meatballs, handmade salads, soft drinks and more. Marco’s was founded in 1978 by Italian born, Pasquale (“Pat”) Giammarco and is committed to making Italian Pizza with fresh, never frozen cheese.
“Pizza and movie lovers in Owasso are in for a real treat,” said Jack Butorac,
Marco’s Pizza CEO. “Marco’s was founded on Italian freshness and quality
standards, making it stand out from all other well-known brands. All ingredients
are genuinely fresh, fairly priced and truly craveable. I’m proud we can bring
Marco’s Pizza to the people of Owasso, not to mention the fabulous selection
of movies and video games the community can rent at Family Video.”
An estimated 350 conversions will follow in the next seven years, potentially creating more than 7,000 new jobs. With each new opening, Hoogland Foods focuses on hiring in the local community. Owasso is no different and Marco’s Pizza is still in the process of hiring for this latest location.
